Analyst Programmer – TFG Infotec

TFG Infotec is a dynamic, well-established information and communication technology (ICT) organisation dedicated to the development and implementation of world-class IT systems and infrastructure for TFG (The Foschini Group). We have an exciting position available for an individual who have proven Transact SQL Server skills, IT Service Management knowledge, excellent analytical and problem solving skills and who enjoys a challenge, to join the Process Management team as a Process Analyst.

Your key performance areas will be:

  • Applying IT Service Management knowledge to improve IT efficiencies and align processes to best practice
  • Providing application configuration and administration support for IT users
  • Supporting and maintaining application solutions for TFG Infotec
  • Developing, testing and implementing system enhancements and fixes
  • Performing data extracts and developing new reports
  • Producing weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports for TFG Infotec Management & Operations
  • Liaise with users regarding requests, issues and requirements

Ideally, you should have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification
  • Solid IT Service Management knowledge experience or ITIL certification
  • To have MS SQL Server experience and be proficient in Transact-SQL language skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple activities of varying complexity

You should be:

  • Able to work independently, as well as within a team
  • Able to use your initiative to determine solutions to problems
  • Customer service focused and be able to communicate effectively
  • Detail focused and work accurately
  • Self-motivated, organised and able to meet deadlines
