Judge Not – You Haven’t Been Caught Yet

Thinking about the headline news and incident reported on the media of a male prison warder and female cop, reminded me of a woman caught in the act of adultery. John 8:3-4 The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery, and placing her in the midst they said to him, "Teacher, this woman has been caught in the act of adultery. This woman was exposed by the scribes (writers or ancient Jewish record-keeper) to the public and brought to Jesus to judge her, but this one was exposed in the media, i.e. newspaper, emails, facebook and etc.

What is the different between this woman in the Bible and the one reported in the media? Both of them were exposed and disgraced to the public by the scribes (writer or journalist). The difference is that the woman in the Bible Jesus spoke on her behalf and never condemned her. The one on the media never had anyone speaking for her but against her, she is condemned and judged by both sinners and believers. People are throwing stones of condemning words against her, saying comments such as "she is married but cheating and why marry then?, what was she thinking" and so on. But the thing is most of the people who are throwing those stones at her they are doing this things but they are not caught and exposed in public. Please don’t misunderstand me, I am not condoning cheating or adultery as the Bible says in Heb.13:4 Let marriage be held in honour among all and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexual immoral and adulterous

Don’t be part of this group as you and I know the grace of God. We know what the grace has done for us when we didn’t deserve it. We are not the judge but God is. Rom 5:8 says but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. And Rom 5:20-21 says, "Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord." Instead of gossiping about the bad news, see an opportunity to gossip or preach the gospel (good news). The devil is a liar, he thought that by doing this he will shame the woman in the women’s month but what he didn’t know is that he is setting a platform for the gospel to be preached. Amen!
