A consultancy firm in Johannesburg required the services of a Chief Whip and thus advertised in the post.
Among the many applicants were a Zulu and a Tsonga.
On their way to the interviews they discussed possible questions and
agreed on a framework of answers.
On arrival the Tsonga was the first to be interviewed and the same
questions as discussed were asked.
Here is how the interview went:
Panel: Who is the world’s most famous footballer?
Tsonga man: It was once Maradona but now it is Ronaldo.
Panel: When did our country gain it’s Freedom?
Tsonga man: Efforts started in 1960 but finally in 1994.
Panel: Is there water in Mars?
Tsonga man: Some say so, but it has not been scientifically proven.
Panel: Why do you think we should give you the job?
Tsonga man: Well, I have the experience, expertise and I am good at it.

Panel: Your CV shows that you have 12 children, why that many?
Zulu man: Well I have the Experience, expertise and I am good at it.
Panel: Are you mad?
Zulu man: Some say so, but it has not been scientifically proven!
